I am Luca Berton — Docker Captain, AI & Cloud Advisor, author of eight technical books on Ansible (published by Apress / Springer Nature and Packt), and a former Red Hat engineer with 18+ years of enterprise experience. Based in Amsterdam and working with teams across Europe, North America, and APAC, I help engineering organizations ship reliable AI-powered, cloud-native, and automated systems — from initial architecture decisions through to production rollout and team enablement.
Engagement Models
Clients typically engage in one of four ways:
- Discovery call (free, 30 minutes) — a no-commitment conversation to scope your problem, validate the approach, and decide whether a paid engagement makes sense.
- Advisory retainer — recurring 1:1 or team sessions covering AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, platform engineering, Ansible automation, or cloud cost optimization. Ideal for teams who need an experienced sounding board on demand.
- Project-based consulting — fixed-scope deliverables such as platform assessments, migration plans, reference architectures, AI/MLOps blueprints, or hands-on implementation of GitOps, observability, or zero-trust workload patterns.
- Workshops & training — half-day to multi-day private workshops on Ansible, Kubernetes, AI for SREs, GitOps with Argo CD, and platform engineering fundamentals. Delivered remotely or on-site.
