Udienza, my ten-minute video show, films where the people who build what you run already are: the booth, the hallway, the speaker room. In 2026 that has meant five conferences in four cities, and two of them list the show as a media partner. The full account, in the show’s own voice, is on udienza.com: Where Udienza films: the conferences of 2026. This is the short version, with the write-ups from each event that live here.
Eighty-two seconds from AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe in Amsterdam, September 2026.
The five rooms
- FOSDEM 2026, Brussels, 31 January to 1 February. Episode 01, Monty Widenius, first published here as a written interview. No press programme at FOSDEM, and none needed.
- KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2026, Amsterdam, 23 to 26 March. Media accreditation from the CNCF, and my own talk. Episodes 02 to 04: Kat Cosgrove, Sven Mößbauer and Luca Galante, each with a written interview here: Kat, Dash0, Luca. A fourth, with Guido Laout of OVHcloud, is waiting as episode 10. The week in pictures: KubeCon Europe 2026 recap.
- KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2026, Yokohama, 28 to 30 July. Accreditation again, the CNCF press briefing and the AI platform keynotes. Episode 05, Chris Aniszczyk; the long written conversation with him is from Amsterdam in April.
- AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe 2026, Amsterdam, 17 and 18 September. The show’s first media partnership, announced here in August. Five conversations recorded on what agents need in production, episodes 06 to 11. My write-ups: day one, day two, key takeaways, people met.
- Open Source Summit Europe 2026, Prague, 7 to 9 October. Media partner, the first event to list the show under its own name. I am filming there this week. Last year’s edition: Open Source Summit Europe 2025 recap.
What a media partnership is, and is not
Two partnerships, each for one event and each confirmed in writing by the organiser: AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe 2026 and Open Source Summit Europe 2026. At the KubeCons the show held media accreditation, which is a press badge, not a partnership. A partnership opens the rooms: the schedule early, the press room, introductions, a logo and a mention. It gives nobody a say in who sits in the other chair or what gets asked. The longer version, and the reasoning, is in the article on udienza.com.
New episodes on Tuesdays at udienza.com. Built something the rest of us run on? Take the other chair.
