What You Will Build
This is not a slide deck workshop. Every session produces a real deliverable. By the end of the day, you will have a working portfolio of 10 shipped projects:
- AI Coding Workspace Setup β configure Claude Code for professional AI-assisted development
- CLI Task Manager β build a complete command-line tool using big prompts with acceptance criteria
- Project Brain File β create and maintain CLAUDE.md project context files with architecture notes, coding conventions, and security rules
- Best-of-N Solution Explorer β apply Best-of-N prompting to generate and compare multiple solutions
- Git Branch Workflow β use Git branches safely with AI-generated code, maintaining version control discipline
- Screenshot-to-UI Converter β convert wireframes and screenshots into working UI components
- Test Suite Generator β test, debug, and review AI-generated code rigorously
- Command Library β build a reusable library of Claude Code commands for your daily workflow
- API Service β build a production-grade API with proper error handling, validation, and documentation
- Production Readiness Review β run a complete security, performance, and deployment review on any project
Workshop Structure
Part 1: Welcome, Setup and AI-First Mindset
What makes Claude Code different from autocomplete tools. The plan β implement β test β review β commit workflow. Safe delegation vs blind trust.
Part 2: Prompting Claude Code Like a Tech Lead
Big prompts vs small prompts. Writing task briefs with acceptance criteria. How to intervene without micromanaging. The difference between delegating a task and writing code yourself.
Part 3: Project Context with CLAUDE.md
Why Claude Code needs project context. Architecture notes, coding conventions, security rules, and βdo not touchβ zones. Keeping context concise under token limits. This is where most developers go wrong β and where the biggest productivity gains hide.
Part 4: Advanced Workflows
Best-of-N prompting for exploring solution spaces. Git discipline with AI-generated code. Converting visual designs into working implementations. Testing strategies for AI-written code.
Part 5: Production Readiness
Security reviews, CI/CD thinking, deployment checklists, and safe AI practices. Going beyond βit worksβ to βit is ready to ship.β
What You Get

Who This Is For
Designed for tech professionals and non-tech professionals who want to actually ship, not just learn prompts:
- Developers wanting to 10x their productivity with AI-assisted coding
- Tech leads evaluating Claude Code for their teams
- Product managers and designers who want to build prototypes themselves
- Anyone with basic programming knowledge who wants to ship real projects with AI
Prerequisites
- Basic programming knowledge (any language)
- Git familiarity
- Claude Code access (Pro or Team plan)
- Local development environment
Why I Built This Workshop
After years of building AI platforms on Kubernetes, authoring 8 technical books, and speaking at KubeCon and Red Hat Summit, I have seen the same pattern everywhere: teams adopt AI tools but never move beyond basic autocomplete. Claude Code is fundamentally different β it is a coding partner, not a suggestion engine.
This workshop teaches the workflows I use daily to ship production systems: CLAUDE.md context files, big-prompt delegation, Best-of-N exploration, and rigorous review processes. The same approach I used to build premium websites and automate complex deployments.
